the big announcement

no, i am not pregnant.

it's official.
my beloved husband has joined the navy.
he has sworn in to serve and protect his country.

he has thought long, prayed hard, and taken this decision to the lord.
it is what is right for our family and i'm so proud of him.

he has already been training hard for boot camp:
by
getting to bed early
waking up early
hardcore workouts
eating more vegetables
eating less candy

he's my hero already.

more details to come at the end of this week.

Wow. A big hug to all of you!

I respect and love all of our service men so very much. They hold such honorable positions in life!

Good luck with boot camp! :)

(and what are you doing about nursing school? Will you be able to finish or are you having to move?)

That one took me by surprise. I had no idea he was thinking of enlisting. Did he enlist full-time? It is such a great honor to serve our country. Tell him "thank you." Call me if you ever need a little support. :)
